Two unidentified terrorists were killed when the Army foiled an infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district, officials said on Saturday (Nov 8, 2025).
The Army’s Chinar Corps, based in Srinagar, said the operation was launched on Friday (November 7) based on specific intelligence agencies about an infiltration attempt in Keran sector of Kupwara.
“Emergency forces observed suspicious activity and issued a challenge, which resulted in the terrorists opening indiscriminate fire,” the army said in a statement on X.
“In the course of the operation, the security forces neutralized two terrorists, the area is being searched,” the report says.
