Ravi Kishan, a Bharatiya Janata Party MP and a star campaigner in the Bihar Assembly elections, has reportedly received a death threat over a phone message. The threat comes allegedly from the notorious gang of Lavrentiy Bishnoi.
The threatening message was received on the mobile phone of astrologer MP Praveen Shastri, who resides in the Gautam Vihar Wistar Colony area under the jurisdiction of the Ramgarh Tal Police Station.

Praveen Shastri shared the details of the threatening message he received on November 4.
A call: Shastri said he got a call from 7904161800.
Threatening content: The caller allegedly made political threats saying, “This time both Modi and Yogi will disappear.” What is significant is that the caller directly threatened to kill Pravin Shastri and threatened to “take care of” MP Ravi Kishan.
Police Complaint: Following the threat, Shastri filed a formal complaint (tahrir) at the Ramgarh Tal police station.
Demand for increased security
Pravin Shastri emphasized the need for intervention, given the dangerous threat and the high status of the MP.
Active participant of the campaign: Shastri has written to the government requesting to beef up the security of MP Ravi Kishan, saying that the parliamentarian is now very active in public life and campaigning for the Bihar Assembly elections. Political Context: The MP is heavily involved in the ruling party’s campaigns and the threat to him has raised serious security concerns. Police have launched an investigation into the case to trace the origin of the call and determine the level of threat posed by Lawrence Bishnoi’s alleged gang.
