Thiruvananthapuram: The State Railway Police has launched a drive to check drunken passengers at railway stations and trains in Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam, Palakkad and Kozhikode zones, days after a drunken man allegedly pushed a teenage girl from a train near Varkala in Kerala. Authorities hope the exercise can act as a deterrent to drink-travelers.
