Drama in the courtroom HAQ the Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi starrer took an average start at the box office in India. As per the early trends, the Suparn Verma directorial has collected in the range of Rs. 1.50 crore in Rs. 2 crores, which is in line with expectations.
The film lived up to its pre-release expectations and is now set to benefit from a strong surge in weekend business. The Yami Gautam and Emraan Hashmi starrer needs to double on Saturday and then show another surge on Sunday to become a success story.
Haq is made on a tight budget and it will be a financially secure venture once the business crosses Rs. 25 crores. Early reports are positive and eyes are on the weekend trajectory. Haq will aim to get into the Rs. 7.50 crore mark for the weekend and then Monday’s mark equals Friday’s.
