Chalet Hotels posts 94% revenue growth and launches Athiva Hotels & Resorts in Q2FY26, ETTravelWorld

Chalet Hotels announced its financial results for Q2 FY26, reporting total revenues of INR 7.4 billion – an increase of 94 per cent over Q2 FY25. Total EBITDA was INR 3.1 billion, reflecting a 98 per cent increase over the same period last year.

The company’s core hospitality business (excluding residential operations) delivered a strong performance with revenue of INR 4.6 billion, up 20 percent year-on-year, and EBITDA of INR 2.0 billion, up 25 percent. EBITDA margins expanded 1.4 percentage points to 43.4 percent. Room inventory rose 10 percent year-over-year, driven by new acquisitions and additions in key markets.

In a major brand development, Chalet Hotels has launched Atheva Hotels & Resorts, a premium lifestyle hospitality brand rooted in wellness, sustainability and experiential travel. The brand’s first property, Athiva Resort & Spa, Khandala (formerly The Dukes Retreat), marks the beginning of a broader expansion strategy under a unified brand architecture.

The Board of Directors also announced the company’s first interim dividend of INR 1 per share (nominal value of INR 10 per share), confirming its commitment to achieving shareholder returns. Chalet also became the first hospitality brand to achieve the Climate Group’s EV100 target.

In its residential segment, 55 apartments were handed over to owners in Koramangala Project, Bengaluru during the quarter.

Development pipeline:

– Taj Mahal at Delhi Airport – Construction work progressing steadily; Target completion for the first half of FY27.

– Varca Beachfront Resort, Goa – On schedule for completion of FY28.

– Cignus II, Powai – Progress as planned; It is expected to be completed in FY27.
