AVIAREPS India successfully hosted the first edition of its global promotion ‘Around the World’, which connected over 200 Indian travel agents with international tourism boards, hospitality brands and tourist attractions. The event was held in Mumbai, Delhi and Ahmedabad, creating opportunities for global partners to strengthen their presence in the Indian market.
Participants included Scalo Milano and Trenitalia from Italy; Mini Europe, Atomium, Belgium Beer World, Visit Brussels from Belgium; Sarova Hotels and Resorts from Kenya; Magnicity in Europe and the United States, the Utah Tourism Office along with American Airlines from the United States. The diverse representation underscored the growing interest of international stakeholders in the outbound travel sector in India.
Ilona Pereira, Managing Director, AVIAREPS India, said: “We are extremely pleased with the overwhelming response to our debut World tour In India. This platform allowed us to connect global partners with the right audience, creating powerful opportunities for future business. At AVIAREPS, we live by our mission – “Bringing the world to the people who live in it,” and this initiative is a true reflection of that promise. We look forward to turning this into an annual tradition with even more exciting partners from around the world.
Francesco Cacciabotti, Chief Sales Officer at Trenitalia, added: “Trenitalia (FS Group), together with its partner Aviareps, has successfully concluded its mission in India to strengthen the brand’s visibility in a strategic and high-potential market. The Aviareps promotion proved to be a good choice for Trenitalia’s first visit to India: the team was able to connect with dozens of carefully selected new operators. Trenitalia is committed to expanding its network of partners promoting Italy As a destination, promoting sustainable travel experiences with the comfort and quality offered by Trenitalia’s rail services.
The success of the inaugural roadshow reflects the growing importance of India as a market for outbound tourism and reinforces Aviarips’ commitment to creating bridges between international travel brands and Indian travellers.
