The Gujarat State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (GSEB) has officially released the 2026 exam time table for class 10th and 12th. As per the schedule, the SSC and HSC exams will start on February 26, 2026 and continue till March 16, 2026. GSEB 2026 Exam Dates and Time Table
The Class 10th (SSC) examinations will be held in the morning session from 10:00 am to 1:15 pm, while the Class 12 (HSC) examinations for both Science and General stream will be held in the afternoon session from 3:00 pm to 6:15 pm.The exams will last for almost three weeks, covering core subjects, electives and professional papers.

According to the GSEB notification, the Class 12 exam pattern includes two sections:
- Part A: 50 multiple choice questions (1 point each)
- Part B: Descriptive or long-answer questions (for a total of 50 marks)
This format provides a balanced assessment of conceptual understanding and analytical writing skills. Science stream students will follow the same pattern for Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics, while Commerce and Arts streams will have a corresponding paper structure.
