These solutions can help turn PLE into a truly memorable event for fans.
WWE is heading to San Diego, California for its final premium live event of 2025, Survivor Series. The annual PLE will once again be held under the WarGames banner and will feature a men’s and women’s WarGames match.
The event is scheduled for November 29, 2025 at Petco Park in San Diego, California and will feature several big names from Raw and SmackDown. However, a few stars who are off TV due to various reasons may miss the last PLE of the year.
As Survivor Series approaches, let’s take a look at four booking decisions that could make the final PLE main roster memorable for WWE fans.
4. US Women’s Title Match
The absence of stars on the Blue brand hurts not only the WWE Women’s Title, but also the United States Women’s Title, which Julia currently holds. The US Women’s title has never been shown at PLE since the first champion, Chelsea Greene, was crowned at SNME last year.
Since Green’s title reign, the title has seen little to no regular programming, and despite having several championships, it continued to feel like an afterthought for WWE. The promotion is set to feature the US Women’s title in the 2025 PLE Finals, giving the championship a much-needed spotlight and a chance to regain prestige in the new year.

3. Stephanie Walker vs. Roxanna Perez
With the absence of big names like Liv Morgan, Rhea Ripley and Io Skye ahead of Survivor Series, WWE has now booked Roxana Perez in a storyline against Stephanie Walker. The storyline also features Raquel Rodriguez and Nikki Bella respectively.
However, booking a title fight between Walker and Perez at the final PLE would be a great addition to the card. Both stars have a history with NXT and are some of the best in-ring talent among the new generation. The spotlight on the show will only help further increase the value of their name in front of the fans.
2. SK women’s title
After two consecutive, if unconventional, victories over current Intercontinental Women’s Champion Becky Lynch, Maxine Dupree earned a victory over the champion. GM Adam Pearce is willing to give Dupree a chance to challenge Lynch for the title.
However, Dupree asked for extra time to make sure she was fully prepared before accepting the match. Her two bouts with Becky have already raised her profile, and a title match against one of the best at the upcoming PLE will further solidify her status as one of WWE’s fastest rising stars.
1. John Cena captures the IC title
John Cena is set to hang up his wrestling boots at the end of 2025, and at this point he only has four appearances left, with Survivor Series being his final WWE PLE appearance. Cena will reportedly face Dominic Mysterio with the Intercontinental Title.
This could be the perfect opportunity not only for Cena to capture the IC title and become a Grand Slam Champion, but also for WWE to make the PLE memorable for such a milestone in Cena’s storied career. Also, it would be one of the best departures for the GOAT of professional wrestling.
