Leela Palaces, Hotels & Resorts has announced the opening of applications for the Leela Leadership Development Program (LLDP) – Class of 2027, further strengthening its long-term commitment to cultivating the next generation of leaders in Indian luxury hospitality.

Launched in 2022 in partnership with the Indian School of Hospitality (ISH) in alliance with Les Roches, the 15-month program provides an immersive learning experience combining world-class academic excellence with hands-on training across award-winning The Leela hotels. It is designed to identify, nurture and accelerate high-potential talent into leadership roles as the brand expands from 13 to 22 hotels in the coming years.

The LLDP follows The Leela’s belief that exceptional hospitality begins with exceptional people. The curriculum integrates functional expertise, leadership skills and behavioral competencies while remaining deeply grounded in Atithi Devo Bhava’s The Leela philosophy – The Guest is God. The program aims to prepare participants to lead with empathy, precision and agility, which are core qualities of the brand’s service ethos.

Open to both internal and external candidates with a degree in hotel management and at least one year of operational experience, the LLDP features a comprehensive selection process including assessments, psychometric testing, and interviews with senior leaders. Participants undergo classroom and online learning, on-the-job training at several properties, and boot camps focusing on operational, business and people skills. The program concludes with a graduation project and a certificate from ISH in alliance with Les Roches.
