Startups from around the world showcased pioneering technologies and sustainable ideas at the Tourism Innovation Summit Seville 2025, redefining the future of global travel.
The Tourism Innovation Summit 2025 in Seville marked another milestone in the global travel industry as it hosted the sixth edition of Touristech Startup Fest, the largest international competition dedicated to innovation in tourism. The event reaffirmed Seville’s role as a global hub for travel technology and entrepreneurship, bringing together visionaries who are shaping the future of tourism through smart, sustainable, data-driven solutions.
This year’s edition witnessed exceptional participation, with more than 400 startups from all over the world competing for recognition. From this tremendous pool of talent, 40 promising finalists were selected to pitch their pioneering ideas to leading travel technology investors, venture capitalists and representatives of top-tier tourism companies. The finalists represent a truly global mix, with entries from Germany, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Belgium, Brazil, South Korea, the United States, the Netherlands, Portugal, the United Kingdom and Sweden.
Each finalist showcased a unique project designed to transform tourism through advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, 5G connectivity, automation, cybersecurity, and immersive AR/VR applications. The competition included ideas tailored to key tourism sectors including hospitality, distribution, destinations, mobility, travel, entertainment, activities and the MICE industry.
The jury honored six startups that stood out for their innovation, scalability and contribution to responsible tourism.
The Sevilla Techpark award went to Aluja I From the United States for its advanced revenue management system powered by artificial intelligence. The platform automatically adjusts hotel and accommodation prices in real-time by analyzing market trends, demand patterns and competitor activity. This solution eliminates manual processes, helping tourism operators enhance profitability while maintaining competitiveness and efficiency.
from spain, Scene 4.0 He received the NEBEXT Award for revolutionizing the design of multi-purpose spaces through sustainable, modular and energy-efficient infrastructures. Its system enables venues to instantly transform into theatres, cinemas or command centers while using integrated audio-visual technology powered by renewable energy. This innovation redefines urban and tourism spaces by integrating creativity with environmental responsibility.
The WTTC (World Travel and Tourism Council) Award was presented to Travel Net For its EmotionTech platform, a transformative approach to travel planning centered around the traveler’s emotions rather than traditional filters like destinations or dates. By analyzing a user’s mood, TravelNet helps travelers find experiences that align with their emotional state, adding a new dimension of personalization and depth to the tourism experience.
the Andalusia Nexus Award claimed before Torricletaa Spanish startup that promotes sustainable rural mobility through its electric bicycle network. Turicleta, which operates 79 active stations, works to support environmentally friendly transportation and economic development in remote areas, addressing depopulation in rural areas while encouraging responsible tourism practices.

This technology automates guest communications across multiple channels, ensuring consistent and timely responses. By reducing repetitive tasks, it allows hotel staff to focus on providing high-quality, personalized service.

Its platform enables seamless integration of online booking and check-in using smart locks, improving guest experience and property management efficiency.
In addition to the six major winners, there are two emerging companies – turbosuite and Reinforcement – received Widespread Excellence Award In recognition of its rapid growth, innovative business models and contributions to the development of travel technology.
