Some have the Bank of America brand in their name, e.g Personalized Cash Rewards Credit Card from Bank of America® and Bank of America® Premium Rewards® Credit Card. Others, such as Atmos™ Rewards Summit Visa Infinite® Credit Cardare co-branded cards offered by Bank of America.

But regardless of your Bank of America credit card(s), you should be aware of Bonus Rewards Day on November 6.

More rewards day for Bank of America

Bank of America credit cards, including those that don’t normally earn rewards, earn additional rewards on More Rewards Day (November 6) between midnight and 11:59 PM EST. Specifically, you will earn as follows on More Rewards Day:

  • Cashback credit cards: Get an extra 2% cash back on your first $2,500 in purchases.
  • Credit card rewards that earn points or miles: Earn 2 bonus points or miles for every $1 you spend on your first $2,500 in purchases.
  • Non-rewards credit cards: Get 2% cash back as a statement credit on your first $2,500 in purchases.

You don’t need to register to enjoy these extra earnings, which come on top of the rewards you already earn for your purchases. The $2,500 purchase limit for rewards earnings is “per account with a unique consumer credit card or business banking company,” according to More Rewards Day Website.

So, if you have Top Atmos Visa Infinite Rewardsyou typically earn 3 points per dollar spent on qualifying dining, foreign transactions, and Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines purchases, and 1 point per dollar spent on other purchases. But for up to $2,500 in purchases on More Rewards Day, you’ll earn 5 points per dollar spent on qualifying dining, foreign transactions, and Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines purchases, and 3 points per dollar spent on other purchases.

If you’re part of the Bank of America Preferred Rewards® program, you’ll earn your Preferred Rewards bonus on your purchase amount as usual. However, you will not earn the Preferred Rewards bonus on bonus earnings through this promotion.

According to Bank of America More Rewards Day WebsiteAll open and active Bank of America business and consumer credit card accounts must be eligible. However, you will need to keep your account open and active for the bonus rewards to hit your account, and it may take up to two billing cycles after the promotion ends to see the bonus rewards in your account.

Finally, only purchases that are posted to your account and appear on your statement with a November 6 transaction date will be eligible. Keep this in mind if you are purchasing items that the merchant is unlikely to charge you on the same day; For example, some online merchants don’t charge you any fees until they ship your purchase.
