While I enjoyed Cahill’s book, the survival skills I learned would likely only be useful in my REM-fueled dreams (or nightmares). As a traditional travel blogger, I have no intention of putting myself in a position to use these amazing newfound skills – with one exception.

One day, I will retrace his horse’s steps in Mongolia. I’ll keep an eye on the yogurt stands and carry a lot of pesky cheese. North Pole? I’ll give it a miss. I’ll also pass on the butterworms (the menu item, not the book); Thank you very much.
