Southeast Asia’s leading airline, Singapore Airlines, has successfully deployed and migrated to Sabre’s new generation Crew Manager solution. With the new solution, Singapore Airlines will be able to take full advantage of Saber’s advanced crew planning, tracking, management and recovery ecosystem. Both Singapore Airlines and its subsidiary, SilkAir, will be migrated to the new Sabre solution.
“We are delighted that Singapore Airlines has successfully implemented the Crew Manager programme, joining a growing number of innovative and forward-looking airlines in Southeast Asia and beyond that recognize the importance of using advanced technological tools in order to improve efficiency and help reduce disruption to themselves, their crew and, ultimately, the traveler,” said Rakesh Narayanan, Vice President and Regional General Manager, Asia Pacific, Airline Sales, Travel Solutions.
“Crew management is one of the most complex areas of airline operations, and this complexity is increasing with the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic, which means airlines are operating in an environment of constant change, new government regulations and authorities, changing business needs and dynamic crew expectations,” Narayanan added.
