The German National Tourism Office (GNTO) in India has strengthened its commitment to the Indian outbound travel market by expanding cooperation with its partners in the ‘India Pool’, offering personalized experiences to Indian visitors across Germany.

India has become one of the most important growth markets for German tourism. Between January and June 2025, Indian travelers recorded 440,000 night stays in Germany, reflecting continued growth and strong interest in authentic, high-quality travel experiences.

Romit Theophilus, Director, Marketing and Sales Office, GNTO India, said: “We are very excited about the potential of the Indian market and greatly appreciate the growing number of Indian visitors choosing Germany for their trips. Our partners at India Pool represent the best that Germany has to offer, and we work closely with them to ensure that Indian tourists have a truly memorable and personalized experience.”

India Pool 2025 highlights a range of experiences designed for Indian travellers:

Berlin: A dynamic metropolis showcasing history, art, culture and nightlife, from the Brandenburg Gate to Red Square and its world-class museums.

Zugspitze – Germany’s Peak: With access via cable car and cogwheel train, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the Alps, glacier touring, skiing and fine dining at restaurants like Panorama 2962.

Baden-Baden: A leading health resort and spa town on the edge of the Black Forest, famous for its thermal spas, historic casino, luxury resorts and cultural attractions.

Munich: The capital of Bavaria blends tradition and modernity, offering arts and culture, shopping, nightlife and proximity to the Alps and lakes.
