Collinson is expanding testing capabilities across three UK sites, ETTravelWorld

Collinson has expanded its testing operations across the UK with the launch of a drive-thru testing facility at an APH long-stay car park near Gatwick Airport. This follows the announcement of drive-thru and entry centers in the O2 Arena’s spacious car park. Meanwhile, Collinson will soon increase testing capabilities with in-terminal facilities at Luton Airport, adding to its existing drive-thru offering.

This latest expansion strengthens Collinson Test’s presence in support of all major airports in England including Heathrow, Manchester, Luton, Stansted, City of London and East Midlands. “With summer just around the corner, travelers can take comfort in knowing that there are ample convenient and accessible testing sites to meet what is likely to be a surge in demand. The state-of-the-art drive-thru Covid-19 testing facility, just a short drive from Gatwick Airport, will allow travelers to choose from a variety of tests including RT-PCR, RT-LAMP, Antigen and antibodies. As an approved provider, Collinson’s new facility will also allow those who… They arrive in the UK complying with the Mandatory Testing Scheme for International Arrivals, as well as the optional ‘Test Release for International Travel’ scheme.

Travelers can book their mandatory testing package via Collinson’s website at a cost of £198. The first test in the package can be taken on arrival for passengers arriving at Gatwick Airport.

As it continues to expand testing capabilities across the UK, Collinson is offering travelers more options to access testing. As the first private provider to be given the green light to offer the mandatory travel tests currently required by the UK Government directly in the airport lounge, the in-person testing process offered across all Collinson’s testing facilities makes it easier for travelers to comply with government guidelines by taking their first test on the day of arrival. Customers can then travel – using private transport where possible and following government guidance – to any Collinson testing centers for their second test on or after day 8, including convenient drive-thru facilities at 02 Arena and Gatwick.
