SpiceJet has announced a significant expansion of its network and fleet for the winter 2025 schedule, with the airline set to operate 250 daily flights – more than double its 125 daily services compared to the summer schedule and well above the 150 daily flights it operated last winter.
The move represents a 100 percent increase in capacity compared to the summer 2025 schedule and reflects the airline’s renewed growth trajectory amid rising demand for domestic and international travel. SpiceJet’s target of 250 daily flights will be achieved once all 19 newly leased aircraft are up and running in the coming weeks. The expanded schedule will be rolled out in phases starting on October 26, 2025.
International operations receive a notable boost with the launch of daily non-stop flights from Delhi and Mumbai to Phuket, offering enhanced options for leisure travellers. Domestically, the airline is enhancing metro connectivity with flights between Mumbai and Bengaluru twice daily from November 1 to 15, and new flights between Chennai and Bengaluru starting November 8.
SpiceJet is also ramping up its services to key tourist and regional destinations. Rajasthan’s top winter hotspots – Jaipur, Udaipur and Jaisalmer – have gained new and enhanced connections, including Kolkata-Jaipur and Kolkata-Udaipur flights from October 31. Jaipur will be connected to Guwahati and Mumbai from November 7, while Udaipur will gain links to Delhi and Mumbai, and Jaisalmer to Delhi from November 15.
Hajj trips and regional routes continue to be an area of focus. Ayodhya will see increased connectivity, with daily services from Delhi and Ahmedabad continuing through the winter and new flights from Mumbai (October 26) and Hyderabad (November 6). Varanasi will be connected to Pune and Hyderabad, while Patna will add new flights to Hyderabad, Ahmedabad and Chennai. Kolkata will be connected with Ahmedabad and Chennai from October 26, with the second daily Chennai service launching on November 6. The new daily service between Ahmedabad and Chennai will start on November 27.
Dibojo Maharshi, Chief Business Officer, SpiceJet, said: “This winter represents an important phase of SpiceJet’s growth. Doubling our daily flights is a clear reflection of the renewed momentum and growth strategy of SpiceJet. The steady expansion of our fleet will allow us to enhance frequency on key routes and launch new destinations, providing more choice, capacity and value to our passengers.”
By November 2025, SpiceJet expects to double its operational fleet and triple its available seat kilometers (ASKM), positioning the airline for sustainable growth across new domestic and international markets.
