Three Madrid Organizations came together to promote tourism, Ettravelworld

To consolidate Madrid’s position as a popular international tourist destination, three important institutions of the city have joined together to launch the “IFEMA by Madrid Turismo” campaign. These institutions are the Society of Madrid, the City Council and IFEMA Madrid.

The three-year-long IFEMA by ‘Madrid Tourismo’ will cover innovations to promote internationalization, digitization and innovation as an international tourism destination.

Isabel Díaz Ayuso, president of the Madrid Society, described the project as “the most ambitious initiative for tourism in Madrid in the last decade.” “Madrid Turismo is another step by IFEMA to make Madrid a reference for the Spanish people in Europe and around the world,” he said.

The community of Madrid and the City Council will have a total of 36 million euros over 3 years, tourism activities within the framework of both fairs and events of IFEMA Madrid, as well as other commitments that will take place in the context of this Agreement.
