Taiwan Tourism has launched a ‘Taiwan Expert Program’ to train the Indian Travel Trade, Ettravelworld

To maintain stronger ties between Taiwan and the Indian tourism market, the Taiwan Tourism Authority has introduced a new initiative – the Taiwan expert program. This pioneering e-learning program is designed to educate and empower Indian travel professionals, providing information on Taiwan’s many tourist attractions, positioned as a top-tier destination for Indian travelers.

Dubbed “Taiwan Time,” the program features cultural insights and visa procedures with transportation options, routing options, passenger plantation, mouse incentives, mouse restaurants and venues, and engaging content and interactive webinar sessions that will provide attendees with invaluable insights into Taiwan.

After successful completion of each module, participants go through a rigorous Q&A session to assess their understanding and unlock the next module. Those who scored 70 percent or higher were subsequently awarded the prestigious title of “Taiwan expert” approved by the Taiwan Tourism Administration.

Certified professionals will be able to attend exclusive awards and events sponsored by the Taiwan Tourism Authority, including Taiwan, electronic gadgets and Taiwan tourism, e, etc.

Solo travelers make up the majority, representing about 65 percent of visa applications in the UAE, 60 percent, 40 percent in Singapore and 45 percent in Vietnam. The groups of two travelers are 20 percent in the UAE, 30 percent in Egypt, 25 percent in Singapore, and 20 percent in Vietnam.

This initiative aims to equip Indian travel professionals with the knowledge and resources needed to effectively promote and market Taiwan as a Premier Travel Promotion, said Noel Saxena, representing the Taiwan Tourism Authority in India, “We are delighted to introduce the Taiwan specialist program. We aim to enhance Taiwan’s ability to showcase Taiwan’s unique offerings to Indian travellers.”
