Rann Utsav 2025-26 Gujarat expands to include Dholavira at Ettravelworld

The latest edition of Rann Utsav began today and will continue to mark a significant evolution in Gujarat’s flagship desert festival till March 4, 2026. Organized by Eyak Enterprises to evoke the brand lived experiences, this year the festival encompasses Dholavira to include the traditional white Rann, a UNESCO world heritage site showcasing the ancient Indus Valley culture.

The extension reflects the festival’s 2025-26 theme of ‘Adhura Nahi Pura Kutch Dekhiye’, which calls to experience the kamsha of Kutch that combines the archaeological richness of Dhoravira with the serenity of Dhordo. The experience that evokes Evoque experiences will continue to run Dhordo while managing the Dhoravira estate, which offers immersive stays and experiences at Dholavira and the newly designed white Rann tent city in Dholavira throughout the year.

The white Rann tent city at Dholavira offers recreational facilities designed for cricket, trampolines, bull rides, moon nest facilities and moonwalker installations and adventure activities like spinning courses and archery. Built around a Harappan Civilization theme, the property features rooms and public spaces named after elements from the Indus Valley period. Guests can explore attractions such as Fossil Park, Harappan excavation site and Dholavira Museum along with Stargazing sessions, bike trails and spa services.

New features this season at Rann Utsav include a tent city, a toddler-friendly play zone, an open-air cinema and a sustainability stall highlighting eco-conscious initiatives like waste segregation, recycling and plastic reduction. Storytelling sessions and bonfires will immerse guests in the folklore and traditions of Kutch.

Eviob Experiences also introduced Mitram, a new personalized guest service at Rann Utsav – a tent city. Acting as a personal guide and facilitator, Mitram assists visitors in screening to ensure a seamless and novel experience.

“Rann Utsav is about more than just the white desert – it’s about the stories, customs and heritage that make Kutch truly unique.

Sustainability, eco-friendly tents, advanced waste management systems, led lighting and regular cleaning drives the festival grounds. These initiatives strengthen, practice practices committed to responsible tourism and the preservation of the fragile white rann ecosystem.

By integrating Dholavira in the Rann UTSAV, Practitioners, how visitors interact with Kutch, offer a holistic journey that provides cultural celebration, historical discovery and natural splendor.
