The Russian capital is set to become the center of global mouse activity as it prepares to host the Global Mouse Congress 2025 on December 17-18, 2025.
Now in its third consecutive edition, the event is one of the most prominent gatherings for the global meetings, promotions, conferences and exhibitions (mice) sector. It brings together a large group of industry experts, government representatives and destination experts from the Russian bloc, the Bric bloc and the countries of the global South to discuss new opportunities for cooperation and growth.
Over 15 special working sessions built around the central theme of the 2025 edition, ‘through open diversity: new opportunities for global growth’. The first day will focus on strengthening public-private partnerships and exploring intergovernmental initiatives to develop the mouse ecosystem. Day two will include sessions on emerging global trends, analytics, destination marketing, incentive travel, sustainability and technology integration.
At the event, industry networking and brand positioning is to serve as the main platform for drawing participants between India, Southeast Asia, Africa, Latin America, CIS and Russia. With more than 3,200 pre-scheduled B2B meetings scheduled in the exhibition area, delegates will have opportunities to network with the world’s top mouse locations and service providers.
The convention builds on the success of last year’s brika edition, which attracted more than 1,300 trade visitors from 17 countries including Brazil, India and China. The continued expansion aligns with Moscow’s tourism development strategy, which drives the mouse sector as a key growth driver. The city aims to increase the city from 5 million to 8 million, contributing to the 52 million total annual visitors expected in the same year.
In 2024, tourism revenues will contribute 235 billion rubles to Moscow’s budget, a figure projected to reach 500 billion rubles by 2030, which is expected to further strengthen the city’s position while promoting sustainable urban development and international cooperation.
