Israeli tourism in the Asian market accused of the ceasefire in the post-ceasefire regime 2025, Ettravelworld

Marking a new chapter for Israel’s tourism industry since the recent ceasefire, the Israel Ministry of Tourism (imot) has strengthened its trade presence at ITB Asia 2025, October 15-17 in Singapore. The participation reaffirmed Israel’s commitment to high-potential Asian markets and its strategy to position the destination as a heritage, cultural, wellness and modern travel experience.

The Israel Pavilion, which was inaugurated by Hazan, the Ambassador of Israel to Singapore, attracted significant attention from the Singapore Ambassador, travel trade professionals, mouse operators and industry partners. Israel DMCs build strong engagement and trust in Israel as a destination of choice for leisure and business travelers.

Key discussions on marketing initiatives, enhanced air connectivity and specific routes to develop traveler expectations in India and Asia. The focus is on branding with the rising demand for immersive and wellness-driven travel experiences.

Israel reported a 39 percent increase in August 2025, with 118,200 visitors compared to July. Between January and August, 814,000 tourists visited Israel – a 21 percent year-on-year increase. India continues to lead among Asian source markets with 7,800 arrivals so far this year. Indonesia, China and the Philippines followed. India also became the first country to enter Israel’s new Evisa program.

Insights gleaned from ITB Asia 2025 will strengthen Israel’s presence in the region in 2026, focusing on Imot’s India and Asia-focused strategy, as well as branded marketing campaigns, airline collaborations and trade training programs.
