Indigo, Direct direct flights from Mumbai, Direct flights to Ettravelworld begin

India’s preferred airline has announced the launch of direct flights between Mumbai and Madinah with effect from 15 November 2025. The new service offers passengers a seamless and affordable travel option to one of the holiest cities in the Islamic world.

Bookings are now open on the Indigo website (www.goindigo.in), mobile app and through authorized travel partners.

With this addition, Indigo strengthens its presence in Saudi Arabia, where it operates more than 150 weekly flights connecting India with Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam and Madinah. The Mumbai-Mudinah Service, its second direct connection to Madinah, complementing the existing Hyderabad-Madinah route, will be upgraded to a four-times-a-week daily service from 3 November 2025.

This extension connects Mumbai directly to Madinah, addressing the growing demand for religious tourism, trade links and movement of manpower and labor between India and Saudi Arabia.

Commenting on the announcement, Vinay Malhotra, Head of Sales, Indigo said:

The launch underscored Indigo’s commitment to expanding international connectivity and expanding accessibility between India and key destinations in the Middle East. As travel demand rebounds between the religious and business segments, the Mumbai-Madinah route is expected to play a key role in facilitating comfortable travel for Indian pilgrims and the diaspora community.
