ImagiaAworld Entertainment Limited (IEL), India’s Premier Entertainment Company, has announced its strategic expansion with plans to build the country’s largest water park near Ahmedabad in Gujarat. The Board of Directors has approved the acquisition of 100% equity in Malpani Parks Ahmedabad Private Limited (MPAPL) valued at INR 75 crore. The transaction, which requires shareholder approval, will be executed through share purchase and fund infusion against liabilities, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the follower MPAPL, which owns 34 hectares of non-agricultural land, accelerating the company’s project development. The water park is envisioned as a flagship destination offering world-class rides, slides and attractions of international standards, setting new benchmarks for entertainment infrastructure in India.
The development marks Bas’s third project after the Sabarmati Riverfront Project in Surat and the Aqua ImageAsa water park, Sabarmati Riverfront Project near Atal Bridge in AHMEDABAD. Together, these investments underscore IEL’s growing commitment to the state’s tourism and leisure ecosystem.
