India Hotels Company (IHCL), India’s largest hospitality firm, a generational, employability-focused higher education platform, has announced a strategic partnership to strengthen and expand skill initiatives in the hospitality sector.

In collaboration, IHCL distributes students’ UGC-recognized undergraduate degree programs to hotel operations across Jaipur, Kochi, Hyderabad and Chennai. Under a ‘work integrated’ learning model, students will end up delivering classes in their first semester, delivering 2.5 years of experience in key hotel departments such as front office, housekeeping and food and beverage service.

Partnership, Gaurav Pokhariyal, Executive Vice President and IHCL at IhCl, said, “At IHCL, our commitment to the nation building goes beyond life and livelihood.

He further emphasized that the resulting partnership will provide a structured, hands-on education model that combines academic rigor with real-world experience, helping to nurture the next generation of talent for the hospitality industry.

In its first year, 140 students are expected to be trained through the program, with plans to expand opportunities for young talent in the country to 7 additional IHC properties in the next fiscal year.
