Aman on the Sea, the ocean cruise division of the luxury hospitality group Aman, will launch Amangati by Sinot Yatma architecture and design in the summer of 2027, an experience that will mark Aman’s official entry to the sea with the opening of Amangati and the T.Mariotti-luxury yacht at T.Mariotti Spa.
The ship will offer 47 suites, each serviced by a dedicated host. Accommodation ranges from 532 sq ft, 1,672 sq ft master suite with private terraces and some feature pools. Inspired by the tranquil interior of Japanese Ryokan houses, guests are designed to evoke a sense of peace and spaciousness with wood tones, travertine bathrooms and full height.
Guest facilities on the Board will extend Ama’s health and culinary philosophies to the sea. Highlights include Aman’s Japanese restaurant NAMA, Mediterranean Dining, Aman Grill and Atmospheric Jazz Club. A full Aman Spa, complete with a Japanese garden, will feature alongside the Marina, which offers direct access to the water.
In parallel with the operational launch, Aman at Sea expanded its leadership team with the appointment of Angela Composto, Senior Vice President of Sales, Marketing and Reservations. With over 20 years of experience in the luxury cruise and travel sector, Composto has led market entry strategies and brand growth for several key players. He said: “Having worked in luxury hospitality for the past 25 years, I have developed a strong strategic vision and the ability to anticipate industry trends … I am honored to apply this experience to Amanda at Sea.”
Later this year, Aman will open bookings for Amanda Amangati’s chartered Mediterranean itineraries.
