Akasa Air, winter schedule commencing October 27, 2025, branded frequencies and Delhi as a destination, a move that underlines commitment and strengthening of connections in India and abroad.
The following table shows a 12 percent (yoy) increase in total ridership per year and a 22 percent increase in available seat kilometers and an increase of 22 percent. This expansion builds on AKASA AIR’s strategy to expand and empower passengers while maintaining operational efficiency across its growing network.
Delhi will emerge as a major operational hub, with total departures from the capital increasing by around 56 percent at 2024 levels. The airline will now operate more than 165 weekly departures from the city to 12 destinations, including three new additions – Kolkata, Bagdogra and Srinagar. The frequencies on existing routes to Mumbai, Pune and Bengaluru will be increased to 4x daily daily and 5x daily.
The expanded network will connect Delhi to four of India’s five metro cities – Mumbai, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Hyderabad – along with eight non-metro destinations, providing greater travel convenience for passengers.
Akasa Air has also expanded its reach across South and East East with two new domestic destinations, Kozhikode and Darbhanga. Kolkata will see an increase in weekly departures from 52 to 62, including two daily non-stop flights connecting Delhi and Goa and Srinagar.
Internationally, the airline continues to strengthen its footprint with new daily services between Phuket and Mumbai and Bengaluru. In the Middle East, AKASA AIR will introduce flights from Abu Dhabi to Cochin and Chennai, complementing the connectivity donation to the southern region of India and its existing Codeshare partnership with Etihad Airways. Departures from Abu Dhabi will increase by 14 percent, while Jeddah will see a 270 percent increase in weekly departures on 26 flights. Services to Riyadh will increase to five flights a week.
