Airlines will make 26,495 flights, starting from October 266, connecting 126 airports and serving 26,495 flights.
Next year, the winter schedule 2025 (WS25) from October 28 to March 26, the number of weekly flights is 3.46 percent of the current summer schedule, but the total number of airports connected in WS25 will be slightly lower.
On Friday, the Civil Aviation Ministry said 26,495 departures at 266 airports in the week ended with 25,610 departures in the week at 129 airports in the summer schedule (SS25) compared to 25,610 departures in the week.
All domestic airlines will operate more weekly flights on WS24, except for Air India, Union Week and Star.
“Out of these 126 airports, Amravati, Hissar, Purnia and Rupsi are the new airports proposed by airlines scheduled for WS25, operations of Aligagar, Ludhiana, Pakyong and Shravasti airports have been suspended in WS25,” he said.
In WS25, Indigo and Air India India will operate 15,014 weekly domestic flights, while Air India Express will operate 4,277 domestic flights.
Spicejet and Akasa Air will operate 1,568 flights per week and 1,027 flights per week respectively.
520 weekly flights in the weather of the state alliance, Star Air (538), Fly91 (196), India (126) and Ulduz Uld (58).
Air India will operate 10.5 percent fewer flights per week in WS25 compared to 4,799 in WS24. TATA Group Airlines’ weekly services are down about 1 percent in its latest winter schedule, with 4,310 flights operating on SS25.
Air India Express will operate a further 3,171 flights on 2,832 in the year and 3,375 weekly services in 2,832, which is 6 percent of the 3,375 weekly services.
The winter schedule of domestic airlines was finalized after the Slot conference meeting held in September and announced after the clearance of the final slots from the respective airport operators.
