Airbus inks working with tata and giving job training to youth with Aassc, etTravelworld

The organizations will work together to build a pipeline of talent in the aerospace sector, focusing on providing opportunities to young people.

European aviation major Airbus, TATA CRIVENT and the Aerospace and Aviation Sector Skills Council on Wednesday signed the Aerospace and Aviation Sector Skills Council to train young people for aviation and aerospace jobs. According to the agreement, Airbus, Tata Creative and Aassc, NSDC and the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship and Ministry of Entrepreneurship (MSDE) will work together to build a pipeline of talent in the aerospace sector, focusing on providing opportunities to the youth. Aerospace and Aviation Sector Skill Council (AASSC), an Apex body of National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) working towards skill development in Aerospace and aviation sector, is a skill development initiative of Tata Tata.

The pact was signed by Remi Maillard, President and Managing Director, Airbus India and South Asia; Anita Rajan, CEO – Tata Creative; And Rachit Bhatnagar, CEO, Aassc, said it was released.

“India is witnessing exponential growth in every aspect of the aerospace and aviation ecosystem. This is increasing the demand for aerospace jobs and with it the need for relevant skills.

“We believe that India’s strength lies in its talent and to educate and prepare young people for jobs that are in growing demand. This collaboration is a step towards achieving this ambition,” said Mailillard.

The ministry announced the names of 14 drone companies selected as beneficiaries of the PLI scheme. Scindia on Friday said the ministry is looking at a rapid expansion of almost Rs 5,000 crore in terms of investment in the Drone Manufacturing Space. He further said that the drone sector will generate 1,00,000 jobs over the next four years.

The three agencies will form a joint task force for workforce requirements for airport operations, flight training, engineering and operations, and workforce requirements for aircraft and airport security. Institutions will use existing flagship centers to deliver existing courses and update the required curriculum.

In addition, the three partners will seek synergy with other aviation companies to provide support in Drone operation and maintenance, repair and overhaul and overhaul and overhaul, together with other aviation companies.
